Located right next to the Airport, this place is home to the most original street signs known to create smiles for everyone driving Airport Road. Some examples: “Free beer, topless waitresses, and false advertisement.”, “The perfect place for LIVE tinder, swipe left.”, and “What’s your mood like? Te- amo or quila“.
Owner Jimmy built the bar as his 40th birthday present, a second home where he invites friends, family, and visitors to our island in his favorite after-work place.
They expanded the bar with a beach area called “Rocket Beach”, where you enjoy lagoon view, cornhole games, and amazing sunsets sitting around the fire pit. During the day, there are kayaks and paddleboards for rent for some water fun and to explore the lagoon.
The Rusty Rocket carries over 50 rums to choose from, making it a great place for a Caribbean rum tasting. Or ask the bartender for their signature Margarita or the King’s Mudslide.
Try their famous homemade burgers named after movie characters like the “Rocky Balboa”, “Godfather”, and “Apollo Creed”; all made with their unique signature sauces.
Other bestsellers are their 12-inch beef hot dogs, quesadillas, and tacos; all served with rusty or curly fries. But for an authentic Caribbean experience, try the fresh catch of the day, where the chef grills red snapper, wahoo, mahi-mahi, or tuna right in front of you on the open-air grill.
After Sunset stay for a campfire experience around the fire-pit, a great way to re-connect or meet like-minded people.
Jimmy plays all sports games you like and organizes entertainment or live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; see the Rusty Rocket social media for details. Over the years, the place became a true Red Sox bar, but everyone is welcome to support other teams or bring their props to convince visitors otherwise.
