Starting from Philipsburg you get to see the Capital of Dutch Sint Maarten, enjoy the views of Great Bay Beach & the Dutch capital’s harbor.
The Cole Bay Hill look-out point is up next, with a stunning panorama of the neighboring islands, the Simpson Bay Lagoon, & the international airport. Visit famous Maho Beach/Airport Beach and experience the spectacular overhead jet landings, as well as the rumbling jet departures right in front of you.
You will then cross the open border, and head over to Marigot – the French capital – home to a colorful tourist market.
After an exciting stretch of off-roading with fantastic natural scenery, it’s back to Philipsburg, where you’ll enjoy an hour of beach time in beautiful Great Bay.
This tour is done at a sightseeing pace.
All Jeeps are with automatic transmission and A/C. Each vehicle is equipped with a handheld VHF radio for easy communication with the tour guide.

The tour starts at 9:30 AM. or 12:30 PM. at “The Dive Shop” in Philipsburg and takes approximately 4 hours so around 1:30 PM. Afterward, we advise you to schedule a day in the capital, click for more about Philipsburg.
Starting location:
“The Dive Shop” is the Jeep Headquarters, located next to Walter Plantz Square with its beautiful Fountains (near the end of the Great Bay Boardwalk at “the foot of town”).

Conditions & Details:
A valid driver’s license is a must. The itinerary or tour duration may vary slightly due to weather or traffic situations or unforeseen circumstances. The majority of the itinerary is on paved roads. A portion is on the dirt road.

The tour turns out really nice and comfortable. The tour guide was communicating throughout via handheld VHF. We took our time to explore breath-taking scenes of Sint Maarten. The tour went perfect due to their friendly service and the price was also really affordable!
It was such an adventurous ride with the Jeep safari. The staff has proven to be very courteous and helpful from the very beginning, trying to organize the best. The drivers are very professional and friendly, the accommodations simply superb with affordable rents. I highly recommend it, an unforgettable experience!
Nice tour, friendly service, a little the Caribbean way (everything takes little time) but this also has its charm and kinda relaxes you over the day. Made us think: "why are we always rushing things"....
Overall good value for the price, we had lots of fun!
