“Are you visiting Grand Case in St. Martin? Then, we can’t wait to Sea You!”
When visiting Grand Case, you must stop in and see the most sustainable store on the island. Owner Sylvie used to travel the world doing Magic shows together with her husband. Until she found SXM, fell in love with the island and settled here. To date, she carries the nickname ‘Magic’.
While on the island, she started her first store called Voila, carrying clothing and accessories she got from all around the globe. Due to the first store’s success, Magic opened a second location called “Sea You”, where first her wonderful daughter Clara, decided to help her mom and assist in running the company. Now her second daughter Iris is running the show at Sea You, which many might know form running MerSea child boutique in Marigot before she took over this new opportunity to be closer to her family in Grand Case.
When both stores were dramatically affected by the devastating hurricane Irma, they decided it was time to shift their focus.
In February 2019, they created a colorful gift shop on the boulevard in Grand Case. The renewed “Sea You” was born and located in an authentic Caribbean beach house.
Here, the vision was to provide sustainable & quality products made by local artists. And precisely, this is what they are doing today.
Find hand-made jewelry from St. Martin & France, natural stone bracelets, key hangers, and much more. Or check out the tropical-themed paintings by ESPA, clothing & apparel made from organic cotton, sunglasses 100% made from recycled PET bottles and other organic materials, and many more memorable trinkets.
