Located at La Vista Hotel, Alma Spa | Head Ritual is the realization of owner Sofia’s lifelong passion for wellness. Moroccan/French by background, Sofia has always chosen the spa over anything else — especially head spa treatments, which became her true love.
Since 2019, she managed several high-end spas across Sint Maarten, building deep experience in luxury wellness before deciding to create her own concept.
In 2024, she introduced “A New Way to Spa” to the island. After first opening in Philipsburg, she moved into a beautiful, authentic Caribbean cottage in Pelican Key, creating a serene, intimate space that immediately disconnects you from everyday life.
Alma Spa offers a carefully curated selection of head spa ritual | body treatment | holistic massage | face care | body scrub inspired by Japanese precision and Moroccan ritual traditions. Each head spa experience begins with a personalized scalp analysis, allowing the treatment to be fully tailored to your needs. The ritual itself is deeply immersive a slow sensorial experience including scalp, head and head massage followed by the signature warm water fall, aromatherapy steam – luxurious shampoo and mask- soothing hand face and Gua sha stone massage and shea butter replace by monoi oil
Organic oils such as coconut oil, argan oil, and shea butter are used throughout the treatments to nourish the scalp, skin, and hair naturally.
