L’Atelier | French Steakhouse & Local Fish Restaurant
“Gourmet french dining on the square in Orient Bay Village with world class meats and locally sourced fresh fish!”
An Atelier is the private studio of a professional artist with a principal master and assistants. They work together to produce art released under the master’s name. L’Atelier Bar a Viande and Poisson is a masterpiece worthy of this description.
Owner Alexandre is a gracious host and is guiding his culinary team in creating world-class dishes featuring the world’s most unique cuts of prime meat.
Such as the “Tomahawk“, 40 days dry aged “Rubia Galega“, “Japanese Black Wagyu” or “Simmental Ribeye“.
L’Atelier has a cozy ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. All plates are great for sharing: entrees, main courses and desserts, but we cannot promise your party will want to share once they taste these delicious dishes.
Each night the chalkboard details what is being available and where it hails from. The staff is well-educated on the different meats and have great suggestions to satisfy your palate.
The quality selection of L’Atelier:
- Steaks: Holstein / Simmental beef, Black Angus Prime, Japanese Wagyu, Rubia Gallega
- Meats: Lamb from the Pyrenees mountains, Iberian pig and wild Duck from the South of France.
- Fish: twice a week freshly caught Big Eye Snapper, Mahi Mahi and Old Wife.
- Vegetarian: Platter of local fresh produce, vegetarian plancha.
Cocktails are made by a trained mixologist and the wine list is equally as impressive with over 70 different varieties to pair with your meal. Make sure you leave room for the l’Atelier signature house dessert or the Paris-Brest.
Enjoy some works of art!

With a varied and extensive menu you have great choices! Staff is very helpfull and explains the dishes in full detail. We enjoyed the Wagyu Beef and the Old Wife and this was to die for, honestly the best meat I had in ages.
Everything comes with a nice sauce which you get to choose and is served with potato gratin and mixed vegetables.
We would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant!
