Ben and Marjan proudly own Café Rembrandt, named after the famous Dutch painter. With their team, they create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who visits.
Café Rembrandt has the charm of an authentic “Bruin Café,” reminiscent of the cozy bars that emerged in living rooms during times when liquor sales were prohibited. This speakeasy ambiance makes guests feel like they’re visiting long-lost friends.
Beer enthusiasts can enjoy over 70 specialty beers from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and beyond. For those who prefer stronger drinks, Ben has curated a collection of over 40 different whiskeys, boasting the island’s most extensive selection of beer and whiskey.
Additionally, the café offers a vast selection of Caribbean rum. Feel free to ask for recommendations or a tasting! While Ben manages the spirits collection, ensuring it’s top-notch, Marjan oversees the excellent wine selection.
At Café Rembrandt, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s tastes.
Gather with friends or make new ones while watching your favorite sports on any of the big-screen TVs around the bar. Formula 1 racing and Dutch football (soccer) are especially popular at Café Rembrandt.
If you’d rather play than watch, challenge others to games like darts or ring toss, or try many other options. Café Rembrandt is also famous for its live rock music events. Every first Sunday of the month, catch “Real Deal,” and every third Sunday, enjoy “Tres Hombres.” Mark your calendars!
Cheese Fondue:
Café Rembrandt offers their famous cheese fondue evening upon request. From 2 people to a maximum of 12 people, they organize everything for you and your party.
The cheese fondue comes with potato, bread, vegetables, cold cuts, and melted cheese to dip in. Pair with nice wines and tasty beers and the environment for a great night is set. Please note the Cheese fondue needs some preparation and so a reservation is required at least 48 hours in advance!

Beer or Whiskey Tasting:
Ben is happy to share his passion and knowledge for beers & whiskeys. He can organize an evening for you to taste several specialty beers from Belgium or rich flavored whiskeys.
With a selection of 40+ whiskeys from around the globe and 70+ specialty beers, there is enough for a great night out!
FUN FACT: Coming in for one drink is hardly ever possible, and the famous saying at Rembrandt is: “ahh, one more then, but that’s really the last one.”

Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. Plus it’s all at an affordable price. I tried boerenkool met rookworst at Café Rembrandt. I’ll definitely recommend it and will come back again!
Ben and Marjan are always there to entertain the guest and will make you feel at "home". The TV's are on with your favorite sports, beers are cold and they are happy to explain and let you try something new. Had tried some great Belgium beer at this place and will definitely come back for more!
