Mara Handcrafted Soap is the creation of Mara Kocic, a passionate artisan who discovered her love for soap-making nearly a decade ago in her home kitchen. Concerned with what we apply to our largest organ—the skin—Mara set out to craft soaps made from ingredients you can recognize, formulas designed for long-term skin care, and packaging that respects the environment.
Her artisanal soaps quickly became popular across Sint Maarten, including in the local hotel industry, with top sellers such as Caribbean Scent, Honey Turmeric, and Lavender. The boutique space radiates tropical zen energy, with soft lavender and ocean notes creating a soothing atmosphere.

Mara Handcrafted Soap Workshops
Guests can reserve Mara’s signature soap-making workshops, available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am – 10:30 am. These hands-on experiences allow visitors to create their own natural soaps while learning about ingredients, scents, and traditional techniques in a calm and welcoming environment. Workshops are ideal for families, friends, vacation groups, and team-building activities, with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 participants per session.
Multilingual and warm, Mara guides participants with patience and care, creating memorable experiences in a tropical, zen-inspired setting.

Private Bath Bomb Workshop
On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 10:30 am, Mara also offers fun and creative bath bomb workshops. Guests can learn how to make their own colorful, fragrant bath bombs using skin-friendly ingredients and custom scent combinations. These workshops are perfect for groups looking for a unique and relaxing activity. Private groups of 4 or more people may also request a custom day and time for special events, celebrations, or team-building experiences.
