Located at Simpson Bay Yacht Club, Top Carrot is a family-run restaurant that has been part of St. Maarten’s culinary scene since 1996, now proudly approaching 30 years of passion and dedication. Founded by Lydia and Peter and run today together with their son Dino.
Top Carrot was created at a time when healthy, conscious food was still rare on the island. What started as a vision quickly became a beloved local institution. The atmosphere is colorful, casual, and unmistakably Caribbean — a place where locals, yacht crews, and visitors naturally come together.

The kitchen focuses on fresh, nourishing cuisine prepared with care, Mediterranean-style service, and daily specials that often feature their own locally caught fish. With plenty of vegetarian options and a genuine commitment to quality ingredients, Top Carrot has earned its reputation as a feel-good spot where food, warmth & authenticity are always on the menu.

The shop features a carefully curated selection of crystals, incense, sage, books, artwork, antiques, jewelry, clothing, gifts, and spiritual items sourced from around the world. Peter and Lydia personally handpick every piece, building long-lasting relationships with suppliers through years of travel in search of unique handmade products.

Designed as a place to explore and unwind, the boutique reflects the same philosophy as the kitchen: balance, intention, and positive energy. Browsing the store becomes part of the experience, transforming a simple visit into a moment of calm, discovery, and connection.
