La Folie was born from owner Axel’s vision of bringing the vibrant Café Concerto concept from Ibiza to St. Martin. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality and a keen eye for what the island was missing, Axel knew it was time to create a dinner show experience like no other. Known for his charismatic presence behind the bar at hotspots like Bamboo, Roxxy, and Sun Beach Clubber, Axel’s top hat, and charm are now central to La Folie’s unique allure.
The venue offers something magical for everyone—stand-up comedy, magicians, live music, burlesque dancers, and circus acts. Each evening promises an exhilarating mix of performances that cater to all tastes.
The kitchen crafts exquisite French and Mediterranean dishes. Highlights include:
• Octopus Carpaccio
• Foie Gras marinated with Martinique Rum
• Homemade Ravioli
• Slow-cooked Lamb Shank (12 hours of perfection)
• Fresh fish selections like Triggerfish and John Dory
Vegetarian options are also thoughtfully curated.
Pair your meal with hand-crafted cocktails like the “French Can Can” or “The Showstopper,” or enjoy Social Hour from 5-7 PM with two-for-one specials on classic cocktails, well-drinks, and specials on beer, wine, champagne, and prosecco.
For a lighter night, the bar and lounge serve small bites—playfully dubbed “little sponges” to fuel the fun. As the night deepens, La Folie transforms into an electrifying club with vibrant music, dazzling lasers, and a dancefloor that keeps the energy alive.

Had a great time ... Cocktails in the lounge area and dinner in the main room both unique and presented well. Showtime was a surprise..... Coming back to the island soon and sure to return.
